2023 Event Recap & Photos

The sun certainly came out for the 2023 4th of July Walk/Run! After a wet and rainy ‘22 event, it was a breath of fresh air to enjoy the July 4th festivities with our amazing community members in downtown Mt. Shasta. Thank you to all of the walkers and runners for coming out and enjoying this staple in our community once again!

We also can’t thank our volunteer groups, entertainers, MC’s, business sponsors, and drawing donators enough for helping us pull off another awesome year!

Enjoy a selection of photos from the ‘23 Walk/Run below!

Enter Your Design by APRIL 30TH at Midnight

It’s hard to picture with so much snow still on the ground, but Mountain Runners is hard at work planning this year’s 4th of July Walk/Run! The t-shirt design contest was a hit last year, so we’re bringing it back!

The 4th of July t-shirts are a beloved tradition in the Mt. Shasta community–and the perfect opportunity to get your artwork seen all around town!

Here are our parameters to help get you brainstorming:

  • Your artwork must include a maximum of three colors

  • Please include one native flower in your design

  • An interpretation of Mt. Shasta is a must!

  • Add the phrase “Mt. Shasta 4th of July Walk/Run” and “2023”

  • Your design must meet the technical parameters (see below)

You can find the technical parameters linked here.

Designs must be turned in by midnight on April 30th! Enter your design or ask us questions by emailing mtshastarun@gmail.com !

We’ll see you on the 4th!
